Mount Caburn: Sunday 22 September 2019

Mount Caburn

The walk starts in the picturesque village of Ringmer and then climbs up past the Glyndebourne Opera House up to Southerham Nature Reserve. Beyond the reserve we reach Mount Caburn, which is a popular hangliding site and provides a fantastic view across the downs. We will then descend into the village of Glynde, past the under restoration Glynde Place, finishing at the Trevor Arms pub.

Although the bus driver will be familiar with the route and will walk with the group, the walk is not a guided walk.  Walkers are responsible for their own navigation and welfare and are free to walk a different route if they choose.  We will do our best to make sure everyone has a thoroughly good time, but neither the bus driver nor The Big Lemon take any responsibility for the wellbeing of walkers whilst on the walk.
