Starting in the picturesque little village of Falmer, home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, our walk climbs up onto the South Downs and heads past Loose Bottom towards Swanborough Hill, homes of some of the UK's rarest moth and butterfly species.
We then head towards Iford Hill and Front Hill, passing Whiteway Bottom and Breaky Bottom along the way, the latter now home to one of England's finest vineyards.
On the descent into Southease we cross the Meridian Line, from the western hemisphere to the eastern hemisphere.
Although the bus driver will be familiar with the route and will walk with the group, the walk is not a guided walk. Walkers are responsible for their own navigation and welfare and are free to walk a different route if they choose. Although we will do our best to make sure everyone has a thoroughly good time, neither the bus driver nor The Big Lemon take any responsibility for the wellbeing of walkers whilst on the walk.
